CURRENTLY ON WAIT LIST: VOLUNTEER MEDICAL/ DENTAL and HUMANITARIAN Mission. Adult volunteers 18 and older welcome. Limited team size.
Come serve with us as we partner with Heart for Lebanon to bring aid to Syrian refugees and the people of Lebanon. Team members will fly into Beirut and travel just outside of the city to H4L headquarters, where the team will stay in a dorm setting. Free medical and dental clinics will be held in the morning and afternoons will be spent packing and delivering humanitarian relief packages to local camps. Team members will also have the unique opportunity to participate in tent visits with Syrian families - a time to listen to their stories and the love of Jesus.
Team members will fly into Beirut, Lebanon and travel three hours east into the Bekaa Valley where the team will stay on site at a local facility or hotel run by our church partners. Other locations may be served. Locations undisclosed until arrival. Team size is limited to 8.
Lebanon has requested 2 doctors or 1 doctor and 1 dentist.
(If you are in the medical profession and do not have a provider slot you will be focusing on humanitarian aid)

* Please note that due to our partnership with Heart for Lebanon there are additional procedures that will need to be adhered to. H4L also requires all volunteers to be professing Christians.*
$1950 + airfare
and includes ground transportation, lodging, meals, traveler's medical insurance, and a cost-share of medical supplies. Personal shopping & sight-seeing are not included. Airfare is extra and varies depending on point of origination and time of booking.
Training: No training is required for this trip. A service manual will be provided prior to the mission. There will be on-field orientation and training at the ministry site. Pre-field training is covered in our "CERT Service Manual", a mission specific manual, a pre-trip devotional, and constant communication with our office and team leader.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- PASSPORTS: Be aware that many countries will not allow you to cross their borders or board your airplane to fly there unless your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your initial date of entry. Still more, including the 26 European nations that participate in the Schengen accord, require your passport to be valid for at least three months past your date of entry, which means that you must add that three-month requirement to the time you plan to travel abroad.
- Can I visit Arab countries with an Israeli stamp in my passport? Lebanon DOES NOT accept visitors with Israeli stamped passports. You will need to apply for a new passport to enter the country.
