VOLUNTEER HUMANITARIAN Mission. Adult volunteers 18 and older welcome. Limited team size.
Come serve with us in the Hatay region of Turkey. Where we partner with local church leaders to minister in the camps and tent cities that have been constructed for earthquake victims. Pastors in the region are seeing God use this horrible tragedy for His ultimate good, by softening the hearts of the Muslim community to receive the gospel.
Team members will fly into Adana, Turkey and travel two hours south to Iskenderun where the team will stay on site at a local camp run by our church partners. We welcome all medical and dental personal to apply, but this trip will primarily be focused on bringing much needed humanitarian aid and spiritual support to the earthquake victims. If you have a heart to serve those who have lost everything and see the love of Jesus spread in a Muslim nation, we welcome you to join us in this mission. We ask that all participants be 18 or older.
$1750 + airfare
and includes ground transportation, lodging, meals, traveler's medical insurance, and a cost-share of humanitarian supplies. Personal shopping & sight-seeing are not included. Airfare is extra and varies depending on point of origination and time of booking.
Acceptance here is only part of the application process. You must submit a application (see FORMS) to be placed on a team. Team size is limited.
VISA REQUIRED - U.S. passport holders may apply for an e-visa for Turkey at www.evisa.gov.tr for tourism or short-term business travel. You can also obtain a tourist visa directly at the airport for $30.
Training: No training is required for this trip. A service manual will be provided prior to the mission. There will be on-field orientation and training at the ministry site. Pre-field training is covered in our "CERT Service Manual", a mission specific manual, a pre-trip devotional, and constant communication with our office and team leader.

Prerequisites
- PASSPORTS: Be aware that many countries will not allow you to cross their borders or board your airplane to fly there unless your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your initial date of entry. Still more, including the 26 European nations that participate in the Schengen accord, require your passport to be valid for at least three months past your date of entry, which means that you must add that three-month requirement to the time you plan to travel abroad.
